- Students must be five years of age or older, and know the English alphabet and simple arithmetic.

- Young piano students must purchase Bastien Piano Basics Primer Level, and students high school and up must purchase Alfred's Piano Basics.

- It's recommended and beneficial to have a piano or keyboard at home to practice on. (in home lessons require an 88 key weighted keyboard or tuned piano)
